Originally entitled “Habits vs. Addictions,” our “Addictive” Motivational co-hosts wanted to contrast the two. Somewhere in there, as they always want to do, Mordant & McFall found different ways of looking at these lifelong friends & foes. They further offer their personal experiences to help us decide if the addictions and/or habits we each have are positive or negative…and how to change things if we so choose
Famed psychologist Carl Jung said: “Every form of addiction is bad, no matter whether the narcotic be alcohol or morphine or idealism.”
Aristotle said: “Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.”
