TOSOL #49 – The Consistency Conundrum

A TOSOL listener asks, “How do you turn knowledge into consistent positive action?  I can quote positive affirmations till I’m turn blue, but in five minutes I find myself with negative destructive thought processes derailing my positive energy.”  How do you keep moving forward with your dreams when things, people, or even you move to derail your best laid plans?  How do you fix your mindset to accomplish any goal you set?  “We are a product of our moment to moment choices.”  It is up to us to create the kind of life we want to live.

In this episode Mordant, McFall, and caller Nolan explore habits.  The conversation includes making the choice to finally move past those habits that are really bad for us and steps to forming newer healthier ones that we want to be part of us for the rest of our lives.  As an added ingredient to Stir the Quantum Soup, Mordant explains affirmations.  What they are, how they work, and how to get them to work in your life.  To round out the hour, Da Den Man calls in to offer words of wisdom concerning the topics at hand.
