How often do you take stock of what you have and feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude? Even more so, once you realize you’ve accomplished so much, how often to you “Spike the Ball,” take your victory lap, or do your victory dance (do you even have one)? Most of people take for granted what they have without realizing it. What you really need to do is step back and take stock of it all. Realize the good you’ve grown in the world and in your own life. Then, by God, celebrate your victories – even the small ones. Especially the small ones! Do this enough times, enjoying the feelings of accomplishment that come with this, and you’re sure to continue on…growing those relatively smaller victories into the larger ones you’re sure to have down this road to becoming a bigger, badder, better, more Y-O-U.
This month’s theme is “Attitude of Gratitude.” Take a moment to look around at what you do have and appreciate it. Then, start picking out your moves and practicing for that victory dance you’ll be needing sooner than you think.
