When nothing seems to be working, is it you or the universe? Mordant & McFall hit “Do Something” vs “Patience” and explain why they are both right.
This week on Success Freaks, the guys help you practice patience with a little An-tic-i… Pation! Then, they stop making you wait and actually talk about Patience. The chatroom starts a discussion about “Being ready, WHILE being impatient.” In the Level Up, we caution you to be careful what you ask for… and teach you not to jump to “knee jerky” conclusions. And, in On Beyond, we dive into the mechanics of “Mordant & McFall.”

Segment One –
Wait for it…. Charles & Mordant open the show with a bit of Kung Fu (the tv show). Charles tells a story about a thing Mordant said… Mordant tells about a thing Dave Jackson said… about Patience and the importance of doing what you love so you can be in it for the long haul.
Then the guys discuss food. The new social platform Blab.im (ios and web) is the latest addition to Tuesdays with Success Freaks. The boys clue you in on how to connect with the show and mention that we’ve started jumping on Blab.im after the show. Come by & say “Hi!”
Segment Two –
Mordant talks about the decision between having Patience or moving on to “the next thing.” Charles tells of how hard it is to let things “cook” for a bit and how important it is allow life to develop. But, it’s the desire to “know” and for things to happen now rather than later that makes it hard to be patient. Mordant gives an example of being impatient in a “knee jerk” kind of way… but a bit of patience can help smooth things over. Don’t lose your cool. Be patient. Things will be better if you are. Mordant does a pretty great Cookie Monster.
Segment Three –
Comments from the Chatroom: “Crafty Hooker” asks about being patient while you’re deep in the middle of a difficult situation. Mordant answers that it can be very helpful to stop and pay attention to exactly what’s happening around you. The more you know, the easier patience comes. Charles steps to the “Dark Side” and suggests that if you’re actually NOT READY for the situation you’re in… patience may require you to realize that it may be more a case of just not wanting to be in “THIS place.” Both Charles and Mordant give examples of how things improved for them by being patient.
Segment Four – This week’s “Level Ups” –
The guys talk about specific ways to learn Patience.
Charles’ Level Up: Be careful what you ask for. Sometimes you may need to learn a bit more before you can more forward.
Mordant’s Level Up: Respect your process. Don’t jump to “knee jerky” conclusions.
Segment Five –
On Beyond Success Freaks: (Here Mordant & McFall talk about how they “Go Bigger, Badder, Better, More!”)
Charles says all he wants for his birthday is World Peace (Day). The guys talk about some of the challenges they face recording the show each week. Charles talks about “feeling safe” in one’s endeavors. Sometimes slowing down and moving forward one single step at a time is a valuable process. Mordant talks about the times moving ‘now’ can be a good thing but safety is one benefit of Patience. The guys talk about how THEIR process works and the ways they help each other Level Up.
