Segment One –
The guys start out a little groggy from the weekend. Was busy, busy, BUSY! Mordant tells us about the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, the latest Tortuga Twins DVD (Number TEN!), and the process of getting it funded through Kickstarter. Charles fills us in on Dragon Con in Atlanta, and what it was like to be there to WORK and not to play. Charles was asked to Moderate three panels at Dragon Con this year and promises to tell us all about it… after the break!
Segment Two –
Mordant gives us more detail on the campaign for the new Tortuga DVD. There was a GREAT response on Kickstarter and Mordant talks about plans to film the DVD in Minnesota. Mordant then throws it over to Charles who gives us some detail on what it’s like being “backstage” at Dragon Con. Questions are asked and Names are dropped.
Segment Three –
Mordant tells us about taking a moment during the busy-busy craziness of the holiday weekend to just chill and watch some clouds. It’s important to take the time to just “BE.” In times of stress, happiness can be found in quiet moments or fun experiences. Charles talks about the experience of Hosting during the “Podcast Track” at Dragon Con. He tells us of how he got his start with Podcasting and his experience of being acknowledged among his peers as a veteran Podcaster. Charles’ panels will be available (soon-ish) online.
Segment Four – This week’s “Level Ups” –
More discussion of the weekend…. Charles wakes up a bit and tells us of “Success Freaks Moments” he experienced with many of the people he spoke with over the weekend. Mordant shouts out Tortuga Paul and Ellie Collins.
Charles’ Level Up: Talk to everyone and be ready to help others be Awesome.
Mordant’s Level Up: Set yourself up for adventure! Lasting happiness comes from the good experiences you enjoy.
