SF #226 – We Are Who We Are

On this episode of Success Freaks, we open with one topic and organically change direction to another.  We learn about Mordant’s visit with IRUSA, and that ‘People are people’ (♫ so, why should it beeeeee… ♫).  Our conversation uses a different group of people to show similarity.  In the Level Up, we discuss ‘acceptance vs tolerance’.  And in On Beyond, we  argue about owning our behavior vs. the consideration of all.

What begins as a show about team building, quickly morphs into a frank discussion about Mordant’s experience at the Islamic Relief USA offices, the similarities in people different from us, diversity, racism, and moving from prejudice to tolerance and onto acceptance.  Join the Success Freaks as they take a look at some of the difficulty inherent in moving out from your comfort zone of knowing only people who are familiar to you to having new friends with different backgrounds.
